About Us – I have always been drawn to working with my hands in the shop to create things. After making a wooden mosaic quilt block for my wife, I decided to transform my woodworking hobby into a business.
In 2022 I founded Windy Gap Designs to create and provide high-quality, handmade, woodworking products. Our products range in function and aesthetic, from tables to cutting boards to wall art. All our products are 100% handmade in the blue-ridge mountains of Virginia. In our wood shop, we use a variety of materials ranging from reclaimed wood to new wood to epoxy and metal.
